Frequently asked questions

What is PeakTraining AI?

PeakTraining AI is an AI-assisted athletic performance platform for athletes, coaches, and parents. It helps you log workouts and game stats, track body metrics and training load, generate highlight reels from game film, and build athlete evaluations that college coaches and scouts can actually use.

Who is PeakTraining AI for?

Primarily parents of youth athletes, youth coaches, and HS / college athletes who want to track progress over time and share a credible, structured profile with recruiters. Club, school, and small-program coaches use it to manage roster performance. College scouts and recruiters use the evaluation format.

Is there a free tier?

Yes. You can create an account, log workouts and game stats, and build a basic athletic profile for free. Premium features like AI-assisted highlight reel generation and advanced analytics are available on paid tiers.

How does AI get used?

AI powers three things: automatic clip detection and highlight reel generation from uploaded game film, pattern recognition on performance and training-load data, and drafting of athlete evaluations. Humans — the athlete, coach, or parent — review and approve AI outputs before they are shared.

What data do you collect, and who can see it?

We collect the training, game, and profile data you enter, plus any videos you upload. Your data is private by default: only you and the people you explicitly invite (coach, parent, scout) can see it. See our Privacy Policy for details on storage, security, and children under 13.

Does PeakTraining AI work for any sport?

Yes — the core workout, body metric, and evaluation tools are sport-agnostic. Sport-specific stat tracking and analytics support basketball, football, soccer, baseball, and several other sports, with more added based on user demand.

How is PeakTraining AI different from Hudl, MaxPreps, or TeamSnap?

Those tools focus on one slice of the problem — Hudl on game film, MaxPreps on schedules and team stats, TeamSnap on team logistics. PeakTraining AI is designed around the individual athlete across time, combining training, game stats, film, body metrics, and recruiter-facing evaluations in a single profile. See our Compare section for detailed breakdowns.

Do you have a mobile app?

Yes. PeakTraining AI is available on the App Store and Google Play, and the web app works on any modern browser.

How do I get my athletic resume in front of college coaches?

Build a complete profile (metrics, game stats, film, coach references), generate a public athletic resume URL, and share that link with coaches. The resume is structured for recruiters — they can see the data behind every claim instead of a static PDF.

Can parents control what their youth athlete shares?

Yes. Parents linked to a youth athlete account manage visibility, public profile toggles, and consent flows for AI features, in line with our youth-athlete data protections.
