About PeakTraining AI
We build performance tools for athletes, coaches, and parents — and we try hard to be honest about what the AI does and doesn't do.
What we do
PeakTraining AI is an athlete-tracking platform that covers workouts, games, film, highlight reels, athletic resumes, and recruiting artifacts in one place. It's built for youth and high-school athletes, the coaches who work with them, and the parents who live with the logistics.
We use AI in four specific places: clip detection on uploaded film, draft writing for resume sections and evaluation summaries, trend summarization over workouts and logged data, and data organization for tags and categorization. Every AI output has a human approval gate before it becomes visible to a coach or scout.
We don't ship AI-predicted recruiting outcomes, AI talent scores, AI medical or return-to-play guidance, or one-click highlight reels — because the technology doesn't do those well in 2026, and we'd rather say that plainly than dress it up. The fuller version of that argument is in AI in youth sports: helpful vs. hype.
What we believe
- Coaching is a trust job. Trust isn't delegable to software. The AI drafts and organizes; the coach decides.
- Youth data deserves more caution than adult data. We don't use athlete content to train third-party models, and parents retain control of under-13 accounts.
- Boring and specific beats dramatic and vague. "Finds plays by jersey detection" is a better description than "proprietary AI." We try to write the same way.
- The best tool is the one you can take with you. Data in PeakTraining AI belongs to the athlete and family. If you leave, your film, stats, and resume leave with you.
Who it's for
Most of our users fall into one of four groups — and our guides are written for each of them.
- Parents managing recruiting, logistics, and honest tradeoffs. Start with the guides.
- Coaches who want AI as a prep tool, not a replacement — see AI vs traditional coaching.
- Athletes tracking their own work and building materials for the next level.
- Scouts and evaluators looking at verified measurables and multi-game film, not composite scores.
How we're built
PeakTraining AI is a small, independent team. The product site you're reading now (peaktraining.ai) is separate from the authenticated app (app.peaktraining.ai) — the first is public content, the second is where athletes, coaches, and parents do the work. Both are covered by the same privacy policy and terms.
