Offensive line drills — by age group

Stance, footwork, hand-placement, combo, and pass-protection drills for offensive linemen from 8U through varsity, organized by age.

Offensive line drills are the most repetitive in football and the most rewarding when done right. Footwork and hand placement compound across thousands of reps into the muscle memory that wins varsity-level reps. Athletes who skip the boring work end up as the linemen who get pancaked on film.

How to use this library

Stance drills at every age — they are the foundation of everything else. Footwork drills second (zone step, gap step, kick step). Hand-placement drills third. Combo drills (working with the lineman next to you) and pass-protection drills add layers in middle school and high school.

Each drill page shows demo film, age-specific notes, coaching points, and common technique breakdowns. The drills look simple but reward attention to small details — the inch of pad level, the exact angle of the first step, the hand placement on the chest plate.
